Bear Cove Trail
Two Hour Trail
After enjoying the Serrano
Trail, continue riding along the Base Line and into the Mountains core. The lush
trails are inhabited by all kinds of wild life – blue jays, hawks, raccoons, deer, rattle snakes and yes… Bears. Most animals leave the horses and their riders alone.
Should we come across a curious critter, your lead rider will be sure to bring your attention to it so that you can
see it’s natural beauty in the wild without disturbing it.
Wilderness Trail
Four Hour Trail
Pack lunch, refreshments,
camera and trail pack ~ lip salve, sun block, tissues, whistle, poncho ~ are
included.
A spectacular trail!
Continuing along from the
Serrano Trail and Bear Cove Trail, the lead rider will take you through the deep wilderness of the National Forest.
Enjoy a gradual (and sometimes
steep) climb to the open ridges of the Mountain top where the views are simply breathtaking!
On a clear day, not only
can you enjoy a 360 degree view of the San Bernardino Valley and the Mohave Desert but also the
sea and Santa Catalina Island!
There are several resting
points along the trail. Please be sure to tell us if you have any food preferences
as lunch will be provided for.
